How can I pay for my treatments?
We accept most forms of payment such as debit & credit cards, cash and eft.
(Please note : we do not accept Amex or Diners Club)
Why do I have to fill out a client card with all my personal information?
All this information is necessary to check for any contra-indications to the treatments you have booked and ensure your standards are met 100%. Another reason is the form works as an indemnity form to cover yourself and your therapist. So honesty is very important.
I am struggling to book an appointment; am I doing something wrong?
There could be a number of reasons from no availability on the day for your treatment, to a problem with the online booking system. Any problems booking please contact us on email@example.com

If you are booking a few treatments, look under ‘Multiple Bookings’. The most popular selection of treatments have been combined together with the desired booking time required. If you do not see your selection in the list-please email firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure all treatments can be done in the time wanted. Please note that extra treatments may need extra time and we will do our best to fit everything in, but do require co-operation from your part.
Do I need to get a childcare while my treatments are being done?
NakedCherry is child friendly business. Please note that children will be asked to stay in the waiting area - so bring with a colouring book or something to keep you little precious busy whilst you are getting 'de-fluffed'. We do however appreciate a note of this under ‘special instruction’ so that we can book some extra time to cater for any disruptions.

What is the best way to prepare for my wax treatment?
- Avoid wearing tight : clothing over freshly waxed areas to minimize the risk of irritation and ingrown hairs.
- Exfoliate : the day before to ensure a closer wax & to prevent the dead skin from accumulating and causing hair to become ingrown.
- Trim : not a necessity, but will make your treatment less painful if you have left your hair longer than 4weeks growth. We roughly need hair to the length of 1cm long.
When is the best time to wax?
If you have a low pain threshold - try not come while you are on your cycle as you may find this more painful.Ideally, try booking your appointment the week after your menstrual cycle as your pain threshold is a little higher.
What should I expect when I go for a Brazilian Wax?
All you hair will be removed from the labia, all the way through to your anus; leaving either a neat triangle or strip (depending on your preference)on the your pubic area.
What is the difference between a Brazilian & Bare Cherry wax?
Brazilian leaves you with an eenzy-weeny bit of hair on the pubic area, where a Bare Cherry you are smooth from front to back.
How far in advance do I need to book?
The sooner, the better as we book up quickly. Normal hair growth recommendation is 4 weeks or plus minus 1cm in length; to allow wax to grab the hairs better, allowing a smoother period for longer.
How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
Exfoliate the day before your waxing appointment to prepare the skin allowing for a closer wax. After your wax ensure you wait 24 hours before exfoliating once more. Aim to exfoliate every 2-3 days with either a Loofah or Scrub (we have a variety of scrubs instore that will leave your skin nourished & aid with cell renewal). You can also get products that contain Salicylic Acid that can also be applied to the skin. This works as a leave on exfoliator, working deeper under the skin-helping the hair push through the skin & aids with healing. We recommend our NakedCherry Apothecary Ingrown Terminator to maintain your treatment at home. This is an easy to use spray formula that mildly exfoliates, decongests and minimises discomfort and the appearance for ingrown hairs. Another reason we love it is because it never burns or stings with application.
What is the difference between Hot wax and Strip/Cold wax?
Hot wax is a low temperature, pliable wax which shrink wraps around the hair allowing a more comfortable experience. Another great quality is that this wax can be re-applied over the same area for those extra stubborn hairs, as a pre-wax oil is applied-causing a barrier so your skin is never under stress. This wax is normally used for more sensitive areas such as bikini area, underarms and facial waxing.
Strip wax/Cold wax is a sticky formula that is applied to the area and then removed with strips, so more ideal for larger areas such as legs, chest, back and arms.
How long will the results last?
After your first wax, the results can last between 2-4 weeks, depending on the hair’s re-growth. In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two but noticeably increases in the third and fourth week. If you used to shave, a few treatments may be required to see the full beneficial effects of the waxing.
Please Note: We do not offer waxing services to clients using Roaccutane or Vitamin A based products, we advise that people on these drugs refrain from waxing or laser until 3 months after finishing their course of medication.
